Factory Furniture were approached by Consigli Construction to realise and manufacture the designs for a set of bespoke curved bench tops as part of the Canal Plaza redevelopment project in Portland, Maine, USA. The bench tops were to be mounted onto previously installed concrete plinths in the Canal Plaza. The bench slats were manufactured from FSC Cumaru with a hidden stainless steel frame and fixings. They were supplied in sections and manufactured to a high tolerance to match the complex shapes of the concrete plinths exactly.
